It currently operates seven days a week from noon onwards, and it offers a limited, classic pub menu from noon until 3pm daily.

The Woodman welcomes a diverse customer base, including loyal afternoon crowds, Thursday night quiz revelers, walkers from the downs, and the locals, for its popular Sunday lunch. The pub sits directly opposite Farnborough village hall, so it is used to provide a theatre bar for the Farnborough amateur dramatics society as well as a watering hole for the resident bridge group, Morris men, scout leaders, and many more local club meetings. Events and the outside marquee play a huge part at the Woodman, so it has a great following for private parties, race nights, charity events, bingo, music, supper clubs, and themed food evenings.

Internally at the Woodman, you will find a split-level trade area to include a feature bar servery, the bottom bar for 30 covers, the top bar for 14 covers, and the nook for 12 covers. The trade kitchen is small but perfectly well equipped with a dry storage area and external fridge/freezer shed storage.

The split-level outside space at the Woodman is its real selling point; it includes the lower patio area for 24 covers, the beer garden for approximately 30 covers, a fixed outdoor marquee with table and chair seating for 100 covers, and the top garden, which is currently only used as an event garden for 30 covers with shed storage.
