Jam Thinking. The idea was simple. Our founder, himself a teacher and coder, realised there was an urgent need for young children to learn the skills they’d need to prosper in the digital world.

Jump ahead a few years and Jam Coding was born. Through the delivery of digital workshops for children, parents and schools, we created an idea that struck a chord with communities in the North West and inspired us to take it out into the wider community.

We have a simple ethos of shaping children’s futures by learning the basics of computer coding, whilst having loads of fun at the same time.

Digital abilities are more than being able to code or use a computer. They extend to safe usage, the digital opportunity and digital resilience. We believe that young people should be educated in all these digital skills.
