The range of activities currently on offer (depending on the model you choose) includes: Airgun Shooting, Assault Rifle Shooting, Axe Throwing, Crossbow Shooting, Compound Archery, Slingshot, Archery Tag, Nerf Wars, Airsoft Attack Sense Target Challenge and Remote-Controlled Car Racing.

Your Investment

The Franchise Fee is £20,000 + VAT, which includes all the support you need to get your business up and running.

There are a number of other costs to consider, due to the nature of the business, such as leasing and setting up your site, purchasing equipment and initial stock, hiring staff etc, so additional working capital will be required for this, as well as ongoing day-to-day costs.

At Target Sports World, we offer two different franchise models:

• Full-Format Model - Includes a live fire range and a wider range of activities, offering the potential for higher revenue and requires a total investment of approximately £344,800 (plus VAT).
• Core Activities Model - A more streamlined version, excluding the live fire element, whilst still delivering a high-quality, multi-activity experience. The total investment required for this option is around £131,000 (plus VAT).

Premises of a fairly substantial size are required to successfully take advantage of everything you can offer as a Target Sports World owner. Our team can help you with this, and explain exactly what is needed, even helping you find the right location.

Becoming a partner in the Target Sports World franchise is all about being your own boss, and growing your own business, so the majority of the money you make stays with you. However, there are continued support fees to enable us to maintain our systems and support to you to consider too.

While Target Sports World does not provide financing directly, there are a number of attractive options to help you with your investment. It may be possible to obtain funding from most major high street banks for some of the amount. You may also be eligible for a Start Up Loan of up to £25,000 per director, which can reduce your need for commercial finance.

No previous experience of running your own business is required but some experience of teaching, coaching and / or team leadership would be advantageous. Our training and ongoing support is designed to help you make the most of your existing skills.

An ‘ideal’ franchisee will be great at; organisation and time management, customer service, understanding health & safety regulations (with our help), communication, leadership and self-motivation along with having the drive and determination to succeed.

Training & Support

The comprehensive training programme shares our expertise and equips you with all the knowledge and skills needed to be a successful franchisee.

The training will be tailored, depending on your level of experience of the various activities on offer, and your own background when it comes to running a business. All franchisees are enrolled on a hybrid training course that combines face-to-face and on-site sessions with distance learning and at-home study. Typically, you can expect the on-site training to last around 6-8 days, with further training dependent on your existing qualifications.

The training will familiarise you with all aspects of the business, including the products and services on offer, use of the booking system, stock and procurement, finance and facilities management and the all-important Target Sports World policies, procedures and safety standards, to name but a few. You will be guided through all the essential Health & Safety training and associated accreditation needed to run a safe target sports centre.

As with any franchise, you will be in charge, however, that doesn’t mean going it alone. It’s all about creating a partnership and working closely together, towards the same goals and your success. Target Sports World will ensure you have all the support needed in the run up to your big launch; during those critical first few weeks and in the months afterwards.

Ongoing support includes regular meetings, marketing and performance reporting, updates to policies, procedures and safety standards, plus an annual conference. The team are also on hand, at any time, for any guidance, or advice you need.
