Walfinch shortlisted for LaingBuisson Awards 2022 ‘Homecare’ category

LaingBuisson Awards 2022, 17 November 2022, Park Plaza Westminster Bridge London

Homecare franchise network Walfinch has been named as a finalist in the ‘Homecare’ category at the prestigious LaingBuisson Awards 2022, which celebrates excellence across the healthcare sector.

The LaingBuisson Awards honours businesses that have set new quality standards in social care, clinical services and in associated advisory, property and financial roles. Now in its 17th year of recognising excellence, the awards are judged independently and objectively and focus on the people providing the care as well as their advisors. The judges received a record 649 entries for the 2022 scheme, adding further credibility to the shortlisting for Walfinch.

The ‘Homecare’ category recognises excellence in the provision of personal care or healthcare in a home setting, with a focus on innovation and/or higher acuity services.

Amrit Dhaliwal, CEO of Walfinch said, “I am extremely proud for Walfinch to be shortlisted in the 2022 LaingBuisson Awards. Having launched our first branch in late 2019, we have made great strides and today support people across the country from 26 franchise branches.

“I founded the business with a focus on providing quality, premium care but importantly in an environment where our carers feel valued. I believe that if our carers are happy, fulfilled and feel supported, it results in a far better service extending to our clients. I am delighted the judges have recognise our efforts in delivering a modernised, quality service and look forward to the awards evening in November.”

With an estimated 950,000 people receiving home-based care services from around 10,000 providers, demands for domiciliary care continue to increase, and Walfinch continues to innovate and expand its network to deliver quality home-based care to help people maintain independence and receive the care they need in the comfort of their own homes.
