PACK & SEND partners with art and antiques trade association

PACK & SEND partners with art and antiques trade association

Logistics franchise, PACK & SEND, has signed a partnership with LAPADA, the largest professional trade association of art and antique dealers in the UK.

Under the new agreement, all 20 of PACK & SEND’S service centres become Approved Service Providers to LAPADA and will be on hand to take care of LAPADA’s network of over 500 dealers across the entire spectrum of art and antique items, including: furniture, fine art, carpets, tapestries, antiquities, clocks, ceramics, decorative objects, silver and jewellery.

PACK & SEND’S CEO, Mike Ryan, said, “Simply put, this fantastic partnership is testament to our approach, which is to provide a bespoke, end-to-end logistics solution that ensures your art or antiques get to their destination in good time, and most importantly, in one piece; whether in the UK or to destinations across the globe. We are proud that such a large, successful organisation as LAPADA has entrusted us as a partner with precious fine art and antique items.

“This partnership is just one of the ways we are supporting our franchise partners and keep them at the forefront of the ever-expanding logistics sector.”

PACK & SEND has a stellar track-record in specialist shipping for large, fragile, and valuable items safely, securely, and in good time. They regularly ship work for established artists such as Luke Jerram and Jeremy Annear as well as renowned silver dealers I. Franks and have handled works sold at auction by global artists such as Banksy, Jeff Koons and Andy Warhol.

Speaking about the partnership, Freya Simms, LAPADA CEO said, “We’re delighted to have PACK & SEND join LAPADA as a corporate member. They are a trusted name in the art & antiques world and we look forward to working with them.”

PACK & SEND service centres pack and ship everything from small personal items to regular business requirements to fragile, large, awkward, and valuable items across the UK and worldwide.
