PACK & SEND launch new service centre in Camberley

Leading packing and shipping franchise PACK & SEND is delighted to welcome the Godwin family to their network, having recently launched their PACK & SEND service centre in Camberley, Surrey. 

The Godwins’ unit takes the brand’s tally to 20 service centres across the UK. They join the existing 19 located in England, Scotland and Northern Ireland that offer bespoke packing and shipping services to a loyal customer base, with a broad capability that includes safe  packing and shipping of fragile, large, awkward and valuable items. 

Their unit is located just off Camberley High Street, close to local amenities and within reach of much of the local population. 

Stephen, 58, Hayley, 50 and son Charlie, 22, launched their family-run franchise business in mid-May. As local people, who have lived in nearby Lightwater throughout their time raising a family, they understand the importance of the service they’ll be providing to their local community. 

Stephen worked as an air traffic controller in several countries throughout his career, including 20 years in the UK, before heading off to Baghdad and Prague. He sought a career change and equally, Hayley, as a stay-at-home mum, wanted to do something with her time now her children had grown up, and to fulfil her lifetime ambition to run her own business. 

Hayley worked in retail prior to having children, so understands the power of a high-street name and the functionality of a retail unit. Her organisational skills will be put to good use in the family’s new business. 

They are joined in their venture by their son, Charlie, who recently worked as a postman. 

The family were interested in a franchise business, due to the support offered and the stability of the proven business model. Whilst this is their first franchise venture, they are interested in growing a multi-unit enterprise.
