A former respite care coordinator and customer sales advisor, has entered the world of domestic cleaning in Wigan, and has vowed to exceed customer expectations in her new venture.

Angelika Bonomally, is the new owner of Merry Maids of Wigan & East Lancs, a franchise of ServiceMaster. Merry Maids has been trading across Wigan for nearly 20 years, but was founded in the US in 1979.

Angelika has extensive experience as a respite carer, providing a domestic care service for people with permanent illnesses, so understands the importance of going into people’s homes and ensuring that they feel comfortable. She has also spent a number of years managing the schedules of carers and care-plans of families, making her well-placed to run the team of maids and meet customers needs

“I’ve always wanted to run my own business, and I knew Merry Maids was the perfect company for me. Having always worked with people in their own homes, I am looking forward to being able to improve customers’ personal environments on a larger scale,” says Angelika.

The Merry Maids brand name already holds a fantastic reputation both locally and nationally, and Angelika hopes her small business will soon become a bigger one, and a fantastic place to work.

There are currently over 70 local Merry Maids businesses in the UK and 600 across the US, Canada and Japan.
