With over 35 years of experience managing multinational British retail chains, Wirral born and bred David Harrison has swapped life on the high street for a national domestic housekeeping franchise business, Bright & Beautiful®, covering the Wirral and its surrounding areas.

Having left school at 16, David Harrison has spent his entire career in retail and held a number of senior positions in the industry, including director roles at Dunelm, TJ Hughes, TK Maxx and most recently at the Liverpool flagship Marks & Spencer store, where he spent three years as a senior manager with 400 personnel. 

David wanted a new challenge and business opportunity in a growing sector where he could apply his extensive knowledge and skillset gained from the retail sector.  He chose to buy a Bright & Beautiful franchise and has already started to deliver an eco-friendly cleaning, tidying, laundry and ironing service with the highest standards of security and service to clients in just one week of trading. 

David is determined to make an impact in the local area and has been busy recruiting local people for his business, including a Quality Training Supervisor and two housekeepers, with the plan to create a further 15 housekeeping jobs over the coming months.  In addition to offering a cleaning service, the business offers a drop-in laundry and ironing service.

I am really excited to not only generate roles for local people, but to provide a first-class housekeeping service at the heart of the community.”
