Charmaine Nicolson, franchise owner for Bright & Beautiful Wolverhampton, an award-winning professional domestic housekeeping franchise, has been shortlisted in the ‘Start-Up Business of the Year’ category at the Black Country Chamber Awards 2019.

Recognised for exceeding expectations within the first two years of trade, Charmaine joins five other finalist companies all in the running to win the award. The winner will be revealed on 15^th November at an exclusive black-tie event which is being held at Wolverhampton racecourse.

When Charmaine launched her Bright & Beautiful business in April 2018, she had only two members of staff on her payroll. Since then, Charmaine has more than quadrupled her trusted team, now numbering nine professional housekeepers, who provide a bespoke and tailored service that offers cleaning, tidying, laundry and ironing to the highest standards of security and service.

In addition to the growth of her team, Charmaine has also seen significant financial growth as turnover increased by 96% from the previous year. Together, Charmaine and her team have delivered more than 1,250 home service cleans over a 12-month period.

Operating across the West Midlands, Bright & Beautiful covers Wolverhampton, Bridgnorth, Codsall, Coven, Codsall Wood, Tettenhall, Pattingham, Albrighton, Lower Penn, Shifnal, Wombourne, Halfpenny Green and the surrounding areas. It is part of a national network of 65+ franchisees building their own local business, creating 800+ jobs and delivering more than 10,000 home cleans per month.
