Bright & Beautiful appoints VP Operations to join expanding team
Bright & Beautiful domestic housekeeping services, part of the Dwyer Group, has appointed Julie Gelder as VP Operations to take the business into 2018, which it plans to make its most ambitious growth year to date.
Launched in 2007, Bright & Beautiful now has 55 franchises nationwide, employing over 500 people, with a multi-million-pound turnover and delivering more than 10,000 home service cleans per month. In 2017 the company became part of the Dwyer Group, one of the world’s largest parent companies of trade service brands.
Based at the Cheadle Head Office, Julie will play a key role in Bright & Beautiful’s future development. She will lead the franchise operations support function, create new job opportunities, oversee nationwide operational delivery and continue to drive the highly rewarding relationship between franchisor and its nationwide franchisees. Julie’s role will also be pivotal in welcoming on board people with a passion for developing their own business.
Julie brings with her many years of experience in managing a large franchise network, leading franchisees to success across a range of service sectors including property, storage and business support solutions. She also has extensive expertise as in operations and HR and joins Bright & Beautiful from her previous role managing a large team within a learning disability charity where she implemented a number of strategic initiatives to restructure and strengthen the company.
Sue Moore, President of Bright & Beautiful, said: “Julie joins our team at an enormously exciting time for the business. Having joined the Dwyer family last year, we have already shared and developed a number of new training and operational processes, all of which are designed to make running a housekeeping franchise with us even more attractive, straightforward and successful.
“Julie’s expertise in managing and leading large teams will be invaluable as we implement our new growth strategy this year, developing and bringing our premium and highly professional services to even more locations across the UK.”
Julie said: “Bright & Beautiful has always been held up as a remarkable franchise and business model and I am joining the company at a time when they are stronger and more ambitious than ever. With the expertise of the powerhouse that is the Dwyer Group behind us, 2018 looks set to be another incredible year for us, our franchisees and our clients.”
