Walfinch home care Named as one of the Fifty Fastest Growing Firms in the South of England

28 October 2025: Walfinch home care has been recognised as one of the fifty fastest-growing businesses in the South of England by the UK Fast Growth Index for 2025, the programme which identifies the fastest-growing companies in the UK.  This achievement underlines Walfinch's significant impact on its market and its capacity for growth and innovation.

While fast growth firms represent a small fraction of all companies, they contribute to a significant proportion of new jobs and prosperity in the UK economy every year.  They are also often at the cutting edge in their respective industries, bringing innovative products, services, and processes to the market and, as a result, making a tremendous contribution to their sector.

The UK Fast Growth Index identifies the fifty fastest-growing companies in seven regions and nations namely London, the Midlands and the East of England, the North of England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, South of England and Wales. Last year, the 350 firms identified through the lists had a collective turnover increase of £9.6 billion between 2021 and 2023 and created 24,000 new jobs in two years.

All the firms on the list have also been entered for the 2025 UK Fast Growth Awards being held in London on November 26th where the winners will be recognised as the fastest growing in their sectors and their regions.

Professor Dylan Jones-Evans OBE, Founder UK Fast Growth Index said: “The UK Fast Growth Index demonstrates how a small number of fast-growing firms such as Walfinch can make a substantial contribution to the UK’s economic landscape, providing real examples of how innovation, enterprise and sheer hard work can make a real difference in all sectors from construction to financial services to technology.  This small group of businesses that grow quickly continue to play a significant role in driving economic growth.  They create jobs and contribute to the economic development of the communities in which they are based.  By highlighting the success of these companies across a range of sectors, the UK Fast Growth Index emphasises the importance of supporting and nurturing the private sector in every nation and region of the UK”.

Amrit Dhaliwal, CEO, Walfinch known as the ‘Walking CEO’ said,  "Walfinch is an award-winning franchise that enables franchisees to run their own businesses in the growing home care sector.  Our franchisees’ teams provide care services enabling clients to continue to live in the comfort of their own homes, enriching lives and making a meaningful impact in their communities every day.  Few businesses offer the opportunity to earn a good income while making such a positive difference.  Our franchisees are supported by our experienced franchise managers who are committed to their success and as a result, we have experienced remarkable growth in recent years.  We are now honoured to have been recognised in the Fast Growth Index for 2025.  It’s a real testament to the strength of our franchised network and the value we bring to the communities we serve.”

In 2025 Walfinch partnered with the Royal Osteoporosis Society (ROS) to improve the UK's bone health, and Walfinch CEO Amrit Dhaliwal has become a Business Ambassador for the charity.
