FASTSIGNS Leicester North has officially opened its doors in order to help meet the growing demand for comprehensive signage solutions in the Leicestershire and wider East Midlands area.

The new Leicester North branch, located at Optimus Point industrial area on Optimus Way, is the 24th centre to join FASTSIGNS UK's growing network and complements the existing franchise already established in Leicester.

The new centre, which will act as the closest branch for the North Leicester, Loughborough, Rugby and Derby areas, will offer all types of printed banners, commercial signage, custom vehicle graphics, branding solutions, and interior and outdoor graphic design, while delivering top-class industry service.

The centre will also see an investment towards the latest technological solutions, with an injection of over £50,000 for state-of-the-art technology, such as an Epson S80600 printer and a Mimaki CG-160-FXII Plotter.

Franchisee, Yaser Khan, will take on the role of managing director, bringing with him a wealth of experience after previously working as a brand designer at widely-recognised hospitality brands, representing such well recognised brands like China Gate Group, No Fear and Everlast.

At the time of opening, Yaser will have the support of two members of staff, both of whom will be spearheading the sales and production sides of the business. In addition, as the business grows, he plans to expand the team, bringing further employment opportunities to the local area.

Coming from a background in graphic design, the transition to signage seemed like the natural next step and I’m excited to be utilising those skills, from content creation, project management and sales, in a new industry.”
