There’s a strong sense of community among these leafy streets and dense estates. Sitting adjacent to the main A6 road leading into Derby city centre, Alvaston enjoys good bus links. It offers a range of shopping and leisure options, including picturesque Alvaston Park, which runs alongside the River Derwent and contains an impressive BMX track that regularly plays host to large national events.
