The Millers Arms is situated in Eaton Socon a district village within St Neots, Cambridgeshire. The village is situated approximately 15 miles (24 km) west of Cambridge and 50 miles (80 km) north of London. The village is also located beside the Bedfordshire/Cambridgeshire border and lies on the banks of the River Great Ouse. The centre of Eaton Socon is characterised by small thatched cottages along the Great North Road and side roads. The Great North Road is also lined with a number of local business premises which retain a great deal of atmosphere, and traditional May Day celebrations are still held every year on the green. The A1 passed through the village along the Great North Road until the Eaton Socon bypass opened in 1971. A second bypass was opened in 1985 to enable traffic travelling between the A1 and Cambridge to avoid Eaton Socon, Eaton Ford and St Neots.

The nearest railway station is located in St Neots which sits on the East Coast Main Line and provides services between London and Edinburgh via Peterborough, Doncaster, York, Darlington, Durham and Newcastle. The area also has a number of bus routes which connect Eaton Socon to St Neots and St Neots to Cambridge, Bedford and Milton Keynes.

The area benefits from a variety of notable landmarks and amenities such as Paxton Lakes Sailing Club, St Neots Museum and the Wyboston Lakes Golf Club & Resort. The area also benefits from a variety of fuel stations, supermarkets and schools.

The Millers Arms occupies a two-storey, semi-detached brick building under a pantile roof, believed to have been built in the 1840s. The property benefits from being located on Ackerman Street opposite a recreation ground/playing field.
