Located on the outskirts of Reading close to the Berkshire/Hampshire border, the Bull Inn is a family friendly and community led pub in the village of Riseley.

Surrounded by stunning countryside, Riseley sits six miles south of Reading and it is the last residential village on the B3349 to Wokingham. As the only pub in the village of Riseley, the Bull plays host to the local community, transient custom on their travels and plenty of summer and family trade from the Wellington Country Park and Campsite, which site just ten minutes’ walk and half a mile away.

The Bull currently trades seven days a week, from noon until 10pm Sunday to Thursday and from noon until 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays. It provides its customers with a warm welcome, monthly live music, occasional DJ’s and a popular quiz night on alternate Wednesdays. The Bull offers a varied menu to include homemade pub favourite dishes, a bespoke children’s menu and eat in or take away handmade pizzas every day from noon until 9pm, together with a classic Sunday lunch.

Internally at the Bull you will find an open plan L-shaped trade area for approximately.45 covers in total, together with a small but well-equipped trade kitchen with two pizza ovens and a separate washup and dry stores area. Externally you will find a patio area with bench seating for 30 covers to the front of the property, an enclosed garden with children’s play area and bench seating for 35 covers to the rear of the building and a private customer car park for 15 cars.

The tenants first floor private accommodation houses just one double bedroom, a lounge and bathroom.

The Bull Inn will be available from September 24 onwards and it is being offered on a fixed term contract until 30th May 2029, outside of the Landlord & Tenant Act 1954 part II.
