CoGoGo welcomes to the market Livewire Rock Academy, a Hertfordshire & Essex Based School of rock with outlets currently in Bishop’s Stortford, Saffron Walden, Epping and Great Dunmow.
Established in 2008, the evening classes are a fantastic way for children and adults to learn to play electric guitar, bass guitar or drums and uniquely play together in a band with the students and teachers at every lesson.
Livewire Rock Academy has now come to the market due to our clients desire to retire.
Livewire Rock Academy is the only music school offering formal tuition and live jam sessions at every lesson.
The schools have taught thousands of youngsters and adults how to play. It’s an exciting, fun and social way to learn to play a musical instrument and a massive hit with kids and adults alike!
The hour-long lessons always include a “rock jam” where students plug in, turn up and play three songs together. Every six months the school then put on concerts, usually at Southmill Arts Centre in Bishop’s Stortford where the students put their new skills into practice on stage in front of a live audience. The concerts also act as a fund-raiser for local Mencap organisation Grove Cottage.
Recently the students have also played on the main stage at Stortford Music Festival and have been joined onstage by ex-Iron Maiden guitarist Dennis Stratton, who is the school’s patron.
