This is a unique personalised map gift business that was built as a side business, but we don't have the time to grow it.
The designs on the website are unlimited, with our platform providing the tools for the client to create a unique gift for a loved one to commemorate a special occasion. The designs can be customised by the client online and offer a margin of 80–100% with both posters and frames available. The items are printed and sent directly to the client, so we do not need to do anything.
This is being sold as we haven't had time to dedicate any resources to it, having invested in the website build, but it is a ready-to-go, high-margin, turnkey business for someone with the time. The products are feature-packed, so the client is able to completely customise and gets a lot for the money, which was a key consideration when planning this.
Please note, the business has only sold a small amount of £200 on eBay as a means of testing our suppliers. This early success led us to invest in the website, which, due to work commitments, I simply can't dedicate the time to run.
The running costs are low, at around £35 per month, including the website software, hosting, payment system, and content creation software. This business will do incredibly well on social media and can be an evergreen, year-round gift, but will be particularly popular at birthdays and Christmas.
There is scope to expand the designs, and I will provide some training on how this can be done. Anyone with basic computer skills can do this.
