Location
The property is situated in the village of Nantgaredig in the Towy valley, approximately 5 miles east of the county town of Carmarthen, with excellent road access to the A48 (2 miles) and Junction 49 of the M4 (9 miles). Carmarthenshire is known as the "Garden of Wales" and benefits from the popular market towns of Llandeilo (10 miles) and Llandovery (18 miles). Pant-y-Bedw
Accessed via a private drive, leading to an angler’s car park situated below the damn wall of Challenger Lake. Set in a natural valley, Pant-y-Bedw consists of two spring-fed lakes originally excavated in 1995.


A hard track leads from the main car park between the two lakes. A timber fishing hut is situated overlooking the main lake on the northern bank, with a path around the perimeter.

Challenger Lake
Extending to approximately 5 acres (2 ha), a spring fed-lake with an average depth of 9 feet and 25 pegs. The lake was dug specifically for recreational fishing, with varying depths, an island and bays. Currently stocked with rainbow and blue trout, from 2lbs. A mature lake with views of the surrounding hills and woodland. The lake has the benefit of a splash style aerator.

Top Lake
Extending to approximately 1.2 acres (0.5 ha) with an average depth of 6 feet. Situated above Challenger Lake, a smaller pool with a central island, stocked with trout and a number of large grass carp to 20lbs.
