Expansion Potential:

Distribution across Tanzania is already covered, we currently supply most major supermarket chains, Delis, hotels and restaurants. There is still massive untapped potential on the Tanzanian mainland both with up market lodges as well as partnering with alcohol brands for cocktail menus rolled out across the hospitality industry. The main potential, however, is in export to Kenya and Uganda. Customer awareness and demand is extremely high, with much higher public engagement with online shop platforms for home delivery.

Competition / Market:

There are two other local brands that produce Kombucha. In Uganda there are no major brands and in Kenya there is only one. Having tasted them all I would say there is yet to be any real competition, the quality is poor and products inconsistent. Our branding and product quality are of much better quality, and our customers inform us that our sales are far superior. There is a very small craft food industry in general. The price point of our products is higher than that of the mass produced functional beverages. We do not consider them to be out competition
