The founder, Tim, has since moved on from the business now almost 10 years later with the new owners they now move to be known as ' Art & Craft Supplies' rather than Tim's Art Supplies but decided to keep the name as it is very well known locally.
They specialise in art supplies for all painting disciplines such as oils, acrylics, watercolours and gouache, plus offering children's poster paints and sets with supporting stock for knitting, sewing, tapestry, long and cross stitch, card making, modellers, and all craft in general. Craft kits always come in stock to suit children and adults from beginners to fully experienced, including the ever-popular paint-by-numbers.
Their framing work is all done in-house on their premises, meaning your precious artwork is not being sent away for completion but delicately kept in their hands. They provide a quoted timescale of around 2-3 weeks which allows enough time for ordering in moulding or missing mountboard colours, however they take less time depending on if the stock is in place. On many occasions they have managed either same day or next day turn arounds - so if the job is urgent it is always worth speaking to them first, they will always give a price before you commit to proceeding further.
