Our Business Mentors provide business owners with support, training, guidance and coaching. We help them overcome the barriers constraining performance, improving profitability and giving the owners enhanced work-life balance and better choices.

As a UKBM franchisee, you will become a crucial part of your local business community. As well as being paid for mentoring services, we encourage our team to support other small businesses and organisations with training and presentations to ‘give something back’.


A franchisee must have a good deal of business experience already under their belt, whether gained in running a business, corporate life or similar.

We look for individuals who share our values and get immense satisfaction from helping others attain success.

A franchisee must be a self-starter, energetic, determined, and possess a positive outlook on life.

Good rapport-building and communication skills are essential.

Franchisees work from home and initially will spend a lot of time building their network/contacts and marketing themselves both digitally and in face-to-face meetings.

Once established, you will mentor your clients mostly face-to-face at the client’s premises or sometimes via Teams/Zoom. Depending on the client’s needs, mentoring sessions can last anywhere from sixty minutes to four hours (or longer). A typical week may include 5/6 customer meetings, the required preparation, and follow-up work.

As you develop your portfolio, you’ll spend less time marketing as our client retention is solid – in fact, it’s industry-leading.



Franchisees receive a week’s full training (covering our processes/business review model/mentoring skills, etc.) split into three days of initial training, a further single day after one month and then a full day’s training bespoke to your individual requirements.

Each franchisee has the benefit of their own mentor from the team to support them in the first year, as well as being supported by the MD and founder on a regular basis. The company has a wealth of training materials and presentations to which the franchisee has access.
