TaxAssist Accountants launches four-week initial training course

A more streamlined course has been designed for new TaxAssist Accountants.

If you’re looking to run your own practice, buy an existing practice or scale up your existing practice you can now join the TaxAssist Accountants network in four weeks and benefit from new lower franchise fees.

Samantha Skyring FCCA, ACIPP, MAAT, Head of Group Learning and Development, said: “We've listened to feedback, and we've made a number of refinements to our initial training course and franchise packages to make it easier to join our network.

“Most importantly, the duration of the course has changed from seven to four weeks. This means a new TaxAssist Accountant joining the network with their own clients is away from their office for less time and is also a faster way of getting started.

“Accountants and bookkeepers who already run their own practice but are looking to scale, cannot afford to be out of their business for seven weeks, so we’ve adapted the training to make it more practical, allowing for more virtual training to be undertaken at home.

“We’ve carefully crafted the course to cover the key components needed to run a modern accountancy practice, focusing on efficiency, growth and profitability. It encompasses all aspects of our business model and prepares new joiners for trading as a TaxAssist Accountant covering a wide range of accountancy, tax, software, sales and marketing topics.

“We’ve also increased our team of Franchisee Development Managers out in the field visiting our network, to enhance our support and mentoring at a local level."

There are three ways to join the TaxAssist network.

·        Build your own accountancy practice

Joining the network as a new start-up gives you the time to become accustomed to self-employment and build your team and practice up gradually. The franchise fee to join for a new start franchisee is now £19,950 + VAT.

  • Buy an established TaxAssist Accountants practice

Purchasing an existing practice represents an excellent foundation upon which a new owner can further develop an established business with an income stream from day one.

Our fee for a franchise resale is £9,975 +VAT, as well as the price for the overall business.

  • Convert your existing accountancy practice to TaxAssist Accountants

For those already in practice who wish to join our network and benefit from our brand name, support and systems to scale up, subject to a minimum £50k existing fee bank, our franchise fee is £9,975 +VAT.

For clients brought into the TaxAssist network, there will be no Management Service Fee payable on these for a period of 12 months, but full support will still be provided.
