Three winners smash The Travel Franchise’s Money-Back Challenge since the New Year

Record holiday bookings indicates that 2024 could be the year that The Travel Franchise refunds more successful franchisees than ever before

ONE OF the many factors that makes The Travel Franchise stand out from other travel franchises is its unique Money-Back Challenge.

The rules are simple: achieve a set amount of commission in the first year of business and the company will refund every penny of the £14,995 Elite franchise fee.

It’s the brainchild of The Travel Franchise co-founder Paul Harrison who admits that many potential franchisees think it’s too good to be true.

“No other company offers anything close to this. I set up this Challenge, because I want people to adopt a winning mindset from the get go. If our consultants are successful then we are too.

“The franchise fee pays for the business infrastructure, booking technology, plus the ongoing training and support we offer to every one of our consultants. But if they make enough sales, then they generate enough profit to justify us returning that investment.”

The roster of winners is proof that it can be done and this year alone The Travel Franchise has already crowned three businesses Money-Back Challenge winners.

With record sales (January was the best in the company’s history), could this be the year that more people achieve it than ever before?

This could explain why the franchise has seen rising demand for its Elite franchise package and why there is a waiting list to train to become a travel consultant with the award-winning company.

2024 Winners: Paul and Tracy Franklin

The latest franchisees to smash the Challenge, crossing the finish line in just 10 months after setting up their company, are Paul and Tracy. Despite working full time as police officers and being busy parents to three children, this couple proved themselves to be a force to be reckoned with and found the Challenge hard but achievable by simply booking holidays in their spare time.

“The support we’ve had from everyone in the company is incredible – from our business development manager through to the other travel consultants in our mentorship group. No one wishes you anything but good luck and there's no jealousy. I often joke when I say that everyone who works in travel must be on some sort of drug because they're always so happy!”

2024 Winners: Liz and Louis Larman

With the Challenge well and truly in their sights, just a week before the deadline, the cancellation of a huge group booking jeopardised their chances of winning. But by working around the clock, Liz and Louis pulled in enough last-minute bookings to achieve the Challenge. They also moved house twice over the last year and have another business to run!

2024 Winners: Kirsty McNeice

After 12 months of networking and putting her hand up for every training opportunity that The Travel Franchise gave her, Kirsty smashed the Challenge.

“I thought, even if I don’t achieve the Challenge, to get anywhere near to it in your first year of business has got to set you up for a really good solid future going forward. So it’s worth aiming for, even if you don’t get there.” But she did.

While Harrison does not pretend the Challenge is easy, he believes it can be done if consultants book just two holidays a week.

“I acknowledge it’s not a walk in the park – that’s why we call it a Challenge. But it can be done, as more and more consultants are proving. The travel market is booming right now and more people are recognising the benefits of booking their holidays via a personal travel consultant.”
