Even before most people had taken down their Christmas decorations, Dream Doors was hosting its first peer-to-peer training workshops of 2024. These sessions, which are free to attend for all franchisees and any member of their team, were held at Neighbourly’s training centre in Northamptonshire. 

Mark Edmans, a veteran franchisee who opened his Dream Doors showroom in 2010, admitted time out of the business – even during a busy start to the year – was well-rewarded: “The recent peer-to-peer workshop was a great opportunity to step away from the business and revisit how we manage the customer journey,” he said.  

“Even after almost 14 years with Dream Doors, you can always pick up new ideas and processes. For me, it was great to learn how other franchisees approach new customer enquiries and lead development – something that is imperative to the success of our business.”

Croydon-based franchisee, Luke Limbach, who took over an existing business when the founder retired in 2021, said: “These workshops are an invaluable opportunity to share best practice and learn from fellow franchisees in a structured framework lead by the business development managers. After the most recent modules on the sales process, I came away feeling driven and with a list of ideas to implement in my franchise to boost sales.”

55 delegates attended January’s workshops, which were so well received that further sessions are planned in the spring.
