Record-breaking year at TaxAssist Accountants

New business enquiry targets smashed throughout 2022.

The TaxAssist Accountants Support Centre Inbound Sales Team have had a busy 2022, with the franchise’s brand and advertising strategies continuing to deliver outstanding results.

James Mattam, Group Business Development Director, said: “Since August, the network has seen a strong uplift in the number of new enquiries from business owners and personal tax clients, which has broken several monthly records for previous years’ lead numbers in the second half of this year.

“We are set to deliver more than 12,000 qualified inbound leads in 2022 as a result of the various marketing strategies and campaigns we have rolled out, which are having a hugely positive effect on new client acquisition for our accountants.

“In conjunction with this, we continue to see good client wins coming through local channels such as shopfronts, branded cars and local advertising, and more ‘switcher’ clients choosing to join TaxAssist because they are not receiving the support they deserve, which we expect to continue as the busy tax season approaches.

“With Making Tax Digital (MTD) on the horizon, which will create further opportunities for accountants, we are working on a number of exciting new campaigns both internally for clients and externally for prospects via our MTD hubs.

“With a huge amount of momentum and new revenue streams for our network with the introduction of TaxAssist Financial Services, 2023 is shaping up to be an exciting year for growth.”

With more than 400 TaxAssist Accountants offices nationwide, the network provides accountancy services, tax returns, payroll, bookkeeping, tax savings and tax advice to 78,000 customers including sole traders, partnerships, limited companies and personal taxpayers.
