TaxAssist franchisees take inspiration from regional meetings

Held bi-annually, the regional meetings bring the network together with TaxAssist Group directors for updates and to share best practice.

After two years of virtual meetings, the TaxAssist Group executive directors recently met face-to-face with the network of more than 240 TaxAssist Accountants franchisees at a series of nine regional events and received fantastic feedback on their inspiring and motivational content and delivery.

Richard Preedy, TaxAssist franchisee Ascot, Maidenhead and Windsor said: “My regional meeting was held in an incredible venue, and it was great to be back ‘in the room’ with the Directors and my fellow franchisees.

“We were kept fully updated during the pandemic by the Support Centre, but I must admit the benefit of networking face-to-face cannot be beaten. Often, it’s the nuggets that are shared over a coffee or lunch that I take away from these meetings.

“The agenda this year was packed with innovation, advice and guidance with a focus on staff recruitment, retention and engagement. All franchises work slightly differently, but the brilliant thing about our organisation is the open dialogue and sharing of best practice that enables every business to benefit from the best of the best.

“Listening to inspirational speakers like Group Development Director, Mike Melling, talking about his experiences of growing his practice, gave me such food for thought that I will be reviewing my onboarding strategies and how these might be developed moving forward.

“I always return to my team highly motivated and ready for the new financial year. It’s such an excellent way to engage and I am reminded of just how much my clients benefit from this extended team and vast array of experiences. Had I launched out on my own, I wouldn’t get to access any of this extended knowledge.”

Sarah Robertson, Group Director and UK Managing Director said: “It was an absolute pleasure seeing all our franchisees once again at the recent Regional Meetings. Myself and my fellow directors Daren Moore, Mike Melling and James Mattam found all the meetings to be enjoyable and informative and would like to thank all attendees for their valuable input and positive feedback.

“With the continuing solid performance of the network, and new income streams being generated by the tax consulting and financial services teams, these are exciting times to be a part of the TaxAssist Group.”

If you’re keen to build your own practice, a TaxAssist Accountants franchise can provide the systems and support you need to be successful. Regular Discovery Days are being held, where you can find out more about the technical, marketing and business development support on offer.
