Leading UK homecare company, Right at Home, are excited to announce the launch of their new podcast, Focused on Franchising.

Hosted by Right at Home’s Franchise Recruitment Manager, Kate Dilworth, the podcast is aimed at anyone who is thinking about starting their own business, to help them make informed decisions. It will cover why franchising offers a fantastic way to reduce risk, as well as bust some myths around franchising.

Right at Home is a franchise which has supported over 60 franchise owners to build successful, profitable businesses. They provide one-to-one care visits, supporting people to live independently, and with dignity, in their own homes. Each of the seven podcast episodes will discuss a specific aspect of franchising and business ownership. The first episode aired on 31^st January, covering the basics of what franchising is and how it works. Host Kate Dilworth interviewed Right at Home franchise owner Mark James on how he had found his first year in business. Future episodes will feature guests like RaH CEO, Ken Deary, and Chief Operating Officer, Lucy Campbell. They will be discussing how to know franchising is right for you, and how to choose the right franchise opportunity when there are so many to choose from.  

In each podcast, you can also expect to hear important advice, such as what capital you need to fund a start-up, from Rob Orme (Hitachi Capital Franchise Finance); the options around bank borrowing, from Ken Braddock (HSBC); and what you should expect from your franchisor, with Lucy. The series concludes with an interview with Ken Deary, as he shares his personal journey from franchisee to franchisor, and what he sees is the future of both the franchise and care industries.
