Right at Home business owners have collected an array of regional awards in November, for their care, their teams and their business. 

Ben Selby saw Right at Home South Cheshire named ‘Care Employer of the Year’ at the North West Care Awards; whilst Joe Guishard at Right at Home Cardiff and Newport picked up ‘Team of the Year’ - and two individual awards for team members - at the Welsh Care Awards. 

The judges described Right at Home Cardiff & Newport as “a fantastic team that highly values their staff” and “a stand-out provider of very high-quality care and staff motivation,” saying “testimonials and positive feedback are just a sneak peak of the outstanding work being carried out." 

Both businesses took team members along to their regional Care Awards, which are a celebration of all the good practice within the residential and home care sectors, and later made sure their whole teams got to share in their success. 

They now go through to be interviewed for the national finals of the Great British Care Awards, which are announced at a black-tie ceremony at Birmingham’s ICC on 20th March 2020. Good luck to you both! 

Days later, Ben and the team at RaH South Cheshire were celebrating again, as they won Business of the Year (25+ Employees) at the South Cheshire Chamber of Commerce Business awards. 

Ben said afterwards: “Thank you to everyone in our team for making this dream come true. We set out 3 years ago to provide a care service that would make a real difference to our local community, care that I knew I would have been happy for my grandad to have had, when he needed care. 

“It’s a privilege to work alongside so many passionate employees who provide Outstanding Care to our clients every day. Thank you to each client for choosing and trusting is with your care or the care of your loved one. We are proud to support you.”

And in Dorset, Andrew Davis and the team at Right at Home Bournemouth and Poole took home the ‘Home Care Provider of the Year Award’ at the Bournemouth Daily Echo Proud to Care Awards on November 14th.

Registered Manager Helen Garland – who was also named Woman Franchise Employee of the Year at the national NatWest EWIF (Encouraging Women into Franchising) Awards earlier this year – collected the award along with her Care Co-ordinator Stacey Bridle and Senior Carers Sharon Young and Jennene Garnett.
