TaxAssist Accountants wins Best Franchise 2017 Award

National accountancy franchise TaxAssist Accountants was named winner of the prestigious Smith + Henderson ‘Best Franchise 2017 Award’ in the Business to Business category.

The award comes off the back of a network-wide survey, in which franchisees were invited to complete an anonymous Franchise Satisfaction Benchmark survey. Franchisees were asked to rate the training and support provided by TaxAssist, the franchise system and their overall franchise ownership experience.

Having already been awarded ‘5-star franchisee satisfaction’ earlier in October, the addition of the Best Franchise Award 2017 was very welcome. The award was given after TaxAssist Accountants delivered a presentation to a Smith + Henderson judging panel earlier in November at the offices of Bird & Bird lawyers in London.

The topics on which they were judged were Training and Support provided to the TaxAssist Accountants network, Innovation and improvements to the franchise model and the future plans for the network and how they are to be delivered and help grow in the future.

“We are absolutely delighted to have been awarded Best Franchise 2017 in the Business to Business category” says Sarah Robertson, Group Operations Director. “We have been working tirelessly throughout the year with our network in the face of some tough challenges that are coming up for our industry sector.

"Making Tax Digital and GDPR are both very big opportunities that we see huge potential in for our business. Therefore, we have put together comprehensive strategies to help and guide the network through these changes. To have this recognised along with our first-class training and support we provide is a fantastic end to the year.”

TaxAssist Accountants is not resting on its laurels though. With the tax return season imminent, the Support Centre's Technical Helpdesk is set to provide extended hours, while the Marketing and Inbound lead teams are working relentlessly to drive more clients to the franchisees.
