Dream Doors, the UK’s largest kitchen door replacement franchise, has just completed its 60,000^th kitchen makeover. Established in 1999, the company’s very first kitchen facelift was sold from its original base in Gosport, Hampshire. But, from those humble beginnings, Dream Doors has now grown into a national franchise network almost 80 showrooms strong.

The company’s 60,000^th sale was won by Nick and Sandy Martin, owners of the Dream Doors franchise in Brigg, North Lincolnshire. Their delighted customers, Mr and Mrs Austin, who were presented with a luxury hamper, said they couldn’t wait to show off their brand-new kitchen to family and friends.

“Dream Doors provided an excellent service, the new units were beautifully fitted and the team were second to none,” says Mrs Austin. “Our new kitchen looks fantastic. We would like to extend our thanks to all those involved.”

It’s just one year since Dream Doors sold its 50,000^th kitchen, a job completed in September 2016 by its Norwich franchise. With close to 900 jobs being completed every month, and more branches opening all the time, the 70,000^th kitchen makeover will be achieved by mid-2018.

Dream Doors’ financial performance during 2017 has surpassed expectation, with group turnover for 2017 projected at £45M. And, since Dream Doors’ unique blend of time and money-saving kitchen makeovers delivered by locally owned franchisees is taking market share, company founder, Troy Tappenden, is naturally in high spirits:

The company achieved an average customer rating of 9.6 out of 10 on Checkatrade.com, and of all the consumer feedback received, just one in every 187 jobs showed reasons for concern. The national average is 1 in 4, prompting Checkatrade’s boss, Kevin Byrne to describe Dream Doors’ statistics as “nothing short of remarkable.”

With the number of kitchen makeovers performed by the franchise rapidly increasing over time, it seems the company’s illustrious 100,000^th makeover is well within reach.

Dream Doors continues to search for new franchisees nationwide, and will be attending the National Franchise Exhibition at the NEC, Birmingham on 13^th and 14^thOctober.
