Claire Woodman celebrates 5 years with TaxAssist Accountants

Kingswood-based Claire Woodman is celebrating five years working with the local small business community and has recruited two new members to her team after seeing client numbers soar.

Claire Woodman set up TaxAssist Accountants in Fishponds in 2012, moving to Kingswood in 2015, she now provides specialist tax and accountancy services to nearly 200 small businesses in and around Bristol, employing a three-strong team.

Claire commented: “Celebrating five years is a great achievement for myself and the team. The small business community has been through some tough times, but it’s great to see how they rally round and support one another. We’d like to thank them for their support; word-of-mouth recommendations have really helped us see client numbers grow year-on-year.

“Heidi Miller recently joined us as a senior accountant with 18 years’ experience, along with Mitchell Pibworth, who has been appointed as a junior accountant and, whilst finishing his Association of Accounting Technicians qualification at college, is very much looking forward to building on his knowledge by working alongside his team members to support our clients and their businesses. Claire Whittard has been with us for almost two years and is a well-respected member of the team.

“The whole team has a very warm approach and are always happy to explain things to ensure the client is confident in their understanding of their tax affairs. Over the years, we’ve developed a reputation locally for our jargon-free advice and the support we give small businesses and start-ups. We’re really passionate about helping our clients achieve their goals and the past five years have been a fantastic journey – here’s to many more.”

TaxAssist Accountants Kingswood is a local business, operating in east Bristol, providing tax and accountancy advice and services purely to small businesses.
