National Training Manager With Leading Home Care Company Acquires Membership to International Institute Of Risk & Safety Management (IIRSM)

Lynda Goldsmith National Training Manager with Caremark Ltd., has taken the first steps to national recognition for the home care franchisor by becoming a specialist member of the Institute and will, therefore, now have national health and safety recognition and be able to use SIIRSM after her name.  Ms Goldsmith had to meet strict criteria in order to succeed as well as prove to have the qualifications and skills that were needed.

Ms Goldsmith commenting about her recent success said “This is a positive step for Caremark Ltd as we recognise that supporting the CPD for our central support team in turn provides positive benefits for the network.”

“The IIRSM also provide accreditations for training and Caremark’s next step is to consider this quality mark and other assessment processes available to us, in order to nationally recognise our training provision and resources” she concluded.

The IIRSM is one of the world’s leading occupational health and safety organisations, established in 1975 as a professional membership body for health and safety practitioners.

The institute has a vision to ensure that health and safety becomes a priority for all, and works closely with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) holding joint annual conferences.

The IIRSM operate in more than 70 countries and have over 8000 professional members.

Ms Goldsmith’s goals and aspirations for the company are that Caremark provide the highest quality of training and that the organisation is nationally recognised for doing so.

Caremark Limited, a home care franchisor, operates throughout the UK and Ireland, and has a nationwide network of offices delivering care and support to individuals within their own homes and the wider community.  Caremark offers a broad range of care and support services to adults, older people and children as well as to people of all ages with physical disabilities, learning difficulties or terminal illness.
