Selected from hundreds upon hundreds of entries, Pam Featherstone is one of 60 finalists in the 12^th annual Startups Awards. As well as being in contention for the Franchisee of the Year award, the general public can vote for Pam for the Startups Awards People’s Champion Award title by visiting the website.

Pamela Featherstone became a franchise partner with business coaching firm ActionCOACH in 2012, offering her services in the Hull area. Now, just three years later, Pam holds the title of ActionCOACH ‘Global Coach of the Year’ – the first person from the UK to ever win the award in the 23 years of the brand’s history – alongside accolades for North UK Coach, Rookie Coach and Most Improved Franchisee. 

The leading business coaching franchise in the world, ActionCOACH specialises in using one-to-one face coaching, group coaching, audio and video coaching, workshops, seminars and more to help companies develop their personal and business development techniques.

The finalists will now be judged by a panel of high-profile entrepreneurs and business leaders including Cath Kidston CBE, JUST EAT CEO David Buttress, Notonthehighstreet.com co-founder Holly Tucker MBE, Dragons’ Den star Touker Suleyman, and MyVoucherCodes.co.uk founder Mark Pearson.

With a passion and commitment to best serve clients, Pam has grown her Hull-based business to seven-figure revenues and has invested heavily in educating her own team through training and publications in order to better support customers. This customer focus is also evident in her approach to building a sense of community with clients and she often runs social activities such as a day at the races and champagne meals.

Her business turnover is set to grow by almost 50% over the next year and Pam’s goal is to make sure that everyone her business touches will benefit greatly and reach the goals they want to achieve.

Winners will be announced at a prestigious awards ceremony held at Vinopolis, London Bridge hosted by comedian Alun Cochrane on the evening of Friday November 27.
