Awards hat-trick for small business tax specialist

Small business tax and accountancy specialist TaxAssist Accountants has achieved a hat-trick in global awards celebrating excellence across the industry.

The national network, which this year completed the UK’s first ever franchisee-assisted management buyout (FAMBO), picked up three awards in Acquisition International Magazine’s 2015 International Tax Awards scheme, sponsored by taxation recruitment specialists Brewer Morris: UK Support Services Deal of the Year, Best for Capital Gains Tax UK and Best for Tax Savings UK.

“These three awards are based on nominations from our clients as well as the industry, which is a great accolade for our business and all our franchisees,” said David Paulson, Senior Manager for Franchise Recruitment with TaxAssist Accountants.

“We really have broken the mould by providing a welcoming, straight-talking approach, with accountants in shop-front offices on the high street. Our small business clients have embraced that approach and helped us to grow year on year. We’re looking forward to replicating that success internationally, with Master Franchises now in Canada and set to launch in Australia, New Zealand and the United States.”

With a fee bank of over £30 million and almost 200 franchisees across the UK, TaxAssist Accountants now has a client base of 50,000 small business clients.
