Sandler welcome another four new franchisees
Following the recent news that the former British Franchise Association Deputy Chairman, Berkeley Harris, had chosen to invest in Sandler, the UK network are delighted to welcome a further four new franchisees.
Jeff Smith also knows the industry, overseeing his own successful Cash Converter management franchise. He joins the Sandler network with a huge amount of relevant experience, combining his current position with a host of other sales focused roles in the financial services sector. A professional negotiator, buyer and seller – he has expertise creating lean businesses that use sophisticated systems and technology to bring innovative new products to market.
Enjoying his new challenge, Jeff says, “Now that I'm with Sandler I work with CEO’s and owners of businesses who are concerned about sales, frustrated with patchy and unpredictable performance, and who, whilst sceptical about quick fix solutions, are unwilling to passively trust to luck to achieve their objectives.”
Martin Hall also recently invested in the Sandler business opportunity, having spent the majority of his working life in sales, sales training and sales management roles. Martin started out with a sales training role at NatWest and moved on to a sales consultant position with Yell, before working in team management and senior sales management roles.
Commenting on what drew him to Sandler, Martin says: “Sandler’s methods are designed to create lasting performance improvements and change behaviours via reinforcement, as opposed to the motivation quick fix approach of a one or two day sales training seminar.”
Paul Sandford joins Sandler from a series of public sector start-up roles for software organisations, Paul spent two years selling business execution software for SAP firm Successfactors. With a sales, HR and business background, Paul was attracted to Sandler due to their proven model, thriving network and on-going support structure – plus the prospect of sustainable, unlimited earnings.
Paul is relishing the challenge ahead of him, and has clear financial goals: “In my first year I anticipate a £30K profit on a £37.5K turnover, £50K profit on a £75 turnover in year two, with £120K profit on a £150 turnover by year three.”
Tony Goodwin, who will be based in Wetherby in Yorkshire, joins Sandler having exited his hugely successful engineering distribution company which he started in 2001. Having spent his career developing technology for multi-national firms mainly in the automotive, food processing and engineering sectors he is now following his school reports suggestion and pursuing a career in sales!!
Tony says “I operate in the ‘real world’ and so do Sandler. They are authentic sales coaches that positively impact the bottom line of their customers, which was a ‘must’ for me when considering joining. “
