Anneli Thomson wins Sandler’s ‘Franchisee of the Year’ Award

The whole Sandler network extends its congratulations to Anneli Thomson, who was recently acknowledged as the Outstanding Franchisee of The Year for 2014/15. A popular franchise owner, this award not only recognises her financial achievements, but also the work she does in helping other Sandler Partners and the network as a whole.

Managing Director of the Chipping Norton franchise since 2011, Anneli is well known for her bubbly personality, hard work and focus. She has recently led the implementation of programmes related to employee engagement, consulting and strategic customer care and is one of the main UK trainers for those starting their Sandler franchise in the UK.

Meeting her goals means a projected turnover in 2014 of £700,000, with a 'stretch' target of £1 million, all with an impressive net profit margin of 60%. Anneli has also become the first in the UK to scoop Sandler’s coveted Diamond Award for invoicing between £190,000 and £240,000 in a four month period. She hopes that such income figures will see her attain a total of three Diamond Awards this year!

“I was at the Miami conference in June to receive the first Diamond Award but I also received the Franchisee of the Year Award which was a complete surprise,” says Anneli. “500 people gave me a standing ovation and it's the only time I can remember being completely unprepared when going up in front of such a large audience – I was genuinely lost for words!”

“We're delighted that Anneli is our Franchisee of The Year,” says Fiona Thomson, Operations Director of Sandler UK. “Not only does she work very hard to create record earnings in her own business, but she is also keen to help others in the network too. It's this combination of focused business acumen and an effervescent, selfless personality that make Anneli a very deserving winner of our main award and the Diamond Award too.”

Offering franchise owners the opportunity to build their income incrementally based on a proven business model, the Sandler System is also renowned for the quality of its ongoing network support - with Anneli being a great advertisement for both. In the busy year ahead Anneli may not be able to do more than her 8 triathlons, but with these results and accolades, she can certainly justify time for her real passion – Champagne!
