Mark Garland-Jones, aged 55 is the latest Autosmart franchisee to hit the road.  Mark is taking on an established van franchise in the Wakefield area and is no stranger to running his own business.

Mark tells us, “I have spent the last 11 years working as a company director for a technology firm.  I sold my shares in the business last year and planned to put my feet up for a while.  I quickly realised, however, that I missed the daily challenges that working can bring and craved to get back into working life.

" I started to look around on franchising websites for a good local business.  Autosmart stood out from the crowd, as they have won so many awards and their support structure is second-to none.  The concept really appealed to me and after spending 11 years working alongside 2 other company directors, I really liked the idea of being the Autosmart “man with the van” and more importantly, no staff to manage.

" Although my background is IT, I know I am going to love selling to the automotive trade. I thrive on new challenges and I know that if I do need support, Autosmart are always there to help."
