The Travel Franchise deepens its commitment to franchisee training with new Elevation Programme
The world's best lifestyle franchise continues to expand its industry-leading training offering, launching a new advanced development programme this September as part of its ongoing investment in the success of its franchisees.
The Travel Franchise, the UK's number one travel franchise for people new to the industry and the business behind consumer brand Not Just Travel, has announced the launch of its new Elevation Programme, a further expansion of the comprehensive training and development it provides to its network of more than 800 travel franchise owners.
Beginning in September, the Elevation Programme is an application-only development experience designed to help franchidsees advance their skills in the luxury market through advanced training, exclusive events, one-to-one coaching and premium marketing support. It forms part of the company's recently launched luxury strategy, and reflects a broader principle that has defined the business for more than two decades: that the ongoing development of its people is the single most important investment it can make.
Training that never stands still
While many franchises provide an initial induction and then step back, The Travel Franchise has built its reputation on doing the opposite. Consultants receive continuous development throughout their entire journey with the business, from their first week through to the most advanced levels of the profession.
That development extends well beyond the UK. Elite franchisees are invited on two fully funded overseas mentorship retreats. The first, the Millionaire's Retreat, combines a few days at a five-star destination with intensive business training, most recently held in Turkey and Crete. The second, the Elite Experience, takes consultants further afield, with recent trips to Mauritius, Dubai and Japan, immersing them in world-class travel first-hand. As co-founder Steve Witt describes them, they are not really holidays, but life-changing trips that happen to feel like one.
The Elevation Programme is the latest addition to an offering that already includes intensive initial training, ongoing masterclasses, webinars, supplier events, overseas mentorship retreats and a dedicated Business Consultant for every franchisee.
The company has a track record of expanding its training in response to opportunity. When it identified the potential of the cruise market, it built a dedicated cruise division, immersed consultants in the product and tripled cruise sales. The new luxury strategy, of which the
Elevation Programme forms a part, applies that same proven formula to one of the fastest growing areas of travel.
“Our philosophy has always been simple. Build the people, and the business follows. Everything we do comes back to giving our consultants the very best training, tools and support in the industry, and then continuing to raise that bar year after year.” – The Travel Franchise
Investing in the best people to teach the best
The launch comes alongside significant investment in the company's wider infrastructure. The Travel Franchise recently announced it is expanding its head office team by 10 per cent, creating new roles across operations, marketing and trade, and doubling the size of its franchise recruitment team. The business continues to recruit experienced specialists from across the travel industry specifically to train, mentor and support its consultant network.
This sustained investment in people and expertise means that consultants who join The Travel Franchise benefit not only from a proven business model, but from a continually growing support structure designed around a single goal: helping them succeed. It is a large part of why the company has been named Best Lifestyle Franchise in the World at the Global Franchise Awards for two consecutive years.
What it means for prospective franchisees
For anyone considering starting a travel business, the Elevation Programme illustrates something significant about the company they would be joining. The Travel Franchise does not stand still. It continually develops new training, expands its expertise and creates fresh opportunities for its consultants to grow, regardless of the experience they arrive with. Notably, 98 per cent of the company's consultants joined with no travel background at all, and the entire training model is built to take complete newcomers and develop them into confident, capable business owners.
The Elevation Programme is the newest expression of that commitment, and the company has confirmed that further training and development initiatives will follow in the coming months.
Getting started has also never been more accessible. Newcomers can now join through the Lite Mentorship Programme from just £995, pairing them with an experienced mentor from day one who guides them through the industry and helps them build their business at their own pace.
