Support your community with a Digital Health Check service
The social care sector continues to evolve with the times, adapting to the latest digital technologies and trends. Now, thanks to a new partnership with Whzan Digital Health, SureCare franchisees can provide health check services alongside a typical care package.
Whzan’s ‘Blue Box’ enables SureCare providers to conduct NHS-validated health checks in a client’s own home, using digital equipment that measures and monitors key vital signs. The technology allows care workers to identify readings like blood pressure, pulse, blood oxygen levels and more that would traditionally be done by a GP or nurse.
SureCare franchisees now have the option to start using one of these Blue Box health check kits as part of their service. This can mean providing check-ups for regular clients as part of their usual care visits, or even going out to community centres to offer free health checks whilst promoting the SureCare brand.
SureCare’s new Digital Health Checks are another tool allowing our franchise operators to diversify their services. By offering more to the local community, SureCare franchisees stand to gain a strong reputation amongst clients, whilst also growing their businesses.
How Health Checks benefit clients
With more widespread use of technology, it becomes easier for care providers like SureCare to conduct these kinds of health checks remotely. This could be in a client’s home, or whilst out and about. It no longer means that such checks can only be carried out in a hospital or GP’s surgery, giving individuals a greater sense of flexibility.
By giving care workers access to NHS-validated tools designed for non-clinical users, clients can rely on more consistent health monitoring from the comfort of their own homes. What’s more, early identification of changes in health means faster intervention is possible. This gives clients and their loved ones peace of mind that they can keep on top of their general health.
How Health Checks benefit franchisees
We’ve shared before how SureCare providers can deliver so much more than personal care. Whilst care in the home is our primary service, additional support services both at home and in the community are what makes SureCare special. By adding another string to our bow, Digital Health Checks offer an extra layer of support that can help make people’s lives easier.
Franchise operators also have the option to utilise Health Checks as an additional revenue stream by charging a small fee per check, or perhaps use it as a small loss leader to drum up interest in other care and support services. The Digital Health Check Kit is available to SureCare franchisees for a relatively modest annual subscription, which is easily offset by income from other services.
