Businesses and individual taxpayers in Chatham and Rochester can now access trusted, professional tax and accountancy services from a new local adviser, as TaxAssist Accountants welcomes Mary Simons to its growing network in Kent.

Mary Simons has over 20 years’ experience in accountancy and finance. She holds an MSc in Accounting & Finance and is offering clients expert guidance across a wide range of tax and business matters.

Alongside her professional qualifications, Mary has extensive commercial and business experience. She has also served as a voluntary trustee on a local government charity board, giving her valuable insight into how local authorities support small businesses and individuals within the community.

Opening her own practice has been a long-standing ambition for Mary. She said: “I’m thoroughly looking forward to getting started, meeting new clients and explaining more about the wide range of additional services available through TaxAssist to help them thrive.

“These services include self-assessment tax returns, year-end accounts, payroll, bookkeeping, mortgages, financial planning, R&D tax credits, business start-ups, debt recovery, business planning and cash flow management.”
