Franchise Brands’ B2C Brands Unite to Support Breast Cancer Now

{Franchise Brands’ B2C Brands Unite to Support Breast Cancer Now}

ChipsAway, Ovenclean and Barking Mad raise money and awareness in support of colleague and all those affected by breast cancer

Franchise Brands’ consumer-facing businesses - ChipsAway, Ovenclean and Barking Mad - are coming together this October to raise funds for Breast Cancer Now, a charity dedicated to supporting research and those impacted by breast cancer.

As part of their efforts, colleagues across the brands are taking part in the “100 Miles in October” challenge, walking, running, or hiking to reach the milestone together. In addition, the teams will join thousands of others across the UK by participating in “Wear It Pink” day on 24th October, donning pink outfits and accessories to show their solidarity and raise vital funds.

This campaign has a particularly personal meaning for the Franchise Brands B2C family, as they rally behind Amy, a much-valued member of the Franchise Support Team, who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatment. Amy has been instrumental in helping many franchisees establish their businesses, and the brands are proud to see so many members of the ChipsAway, Ovenclean and Barking Mad networks enthusiastically joining in fundraising activities to show their support.

Franchise Support Team Leader, Annabel Hall, comments;

“Breast cancer is a disease that sadly touches so many lives, including our own team. By coming together as ChipsAway, Ovenclean and Barking Mad, we want to show our support for Amy and raise money for vital research and support services. We’re also

thrilled to see so many of our franchisees across the networks step up to get involved - a true reflection of the community spirit Amy herself has done so much to build.”

Breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK, with around 55,000 women and 400 men diagnosed every year. The funds raised by the teams at Franchise Brands and their franchise networks will help Breast Cancer Now continue its life-changing research and provide support for people facing breast cancer today.
