In a community event supporting the Bury Hospice, Shabana & Simra launch CareYourWay's award-winning home care services for those in the local areas.

A warm and vibrant celebration marked the grand opening of CareYourWay Bury & Rochdale, a family-led home care provider dedicated to delivering compassionate, high-quality support to local residents. The launch event brought together families, healthcare professionals, and community leaders to welcome this new service, spearheaded by the inspiring mother-and-daughter team, Shabana Pervaz and Simra Tariq.

A Personal Mission Rooted in Experience

With over 25 years of combined experience in nursing and healthcare, Shabana and Simra have dedicated their careers to person-centred care. Shabana, serving as Director and Nominated Individual, emphasises the importance of dignity and independence in care.

"At CareYourWay Bury & Rochdale, we believe that everyone deserves to live with dignity and independence, regardless of age or ability. My mission is to ensure that our care makes a positive impact on every client’s life, helping them to feel safe, supported, and valued."

Simra, the Registered Manager, brings extensive hands-on experience across various healthcare settings. Her focus is on leading a compassionate team that tailors care plans to each individual, fostering an environment of respect, dignity, and trust. She believes that true care goes beyond medical needs; it’s about helping clients live fulfilling lives, empowering them to remain as independent as possible, and ensuring their safety and comfort at home.

Celebrating with the Community

The launch event was attended by notable guests, including Joanne Denby and Gabby Royle from Bury Hospice, Tracy Hughes and Sarah O'Connor from the Stroke Association, and Angela Halliwell representing the Bury Carers Hub. Local dignitaries, such as the Mayor and Mayoress and Councillor Ummrana Farooq, offered their congratulations and highlighted the importance of strong, community-rooted care services.

The atmosphere was further enlivened by a performance from local singer Shivani, whose music added a joyful note to the occasion. A fantastic raffle, generously supported by local businesses, brought smiles all around and raised funds to further community care initiatives.

Guests were inspired by a speech from Sarah Sabater, CEO of CareYourWay, who praised Shabana and Simra’s dedication and vision:
