Where it all started 

Jon is no stranger to the drinks industry. From a young age he has worked for many big names within the sector and his passion for the industry has only grown over time. Armed with years of experience, he eventually found himself looking for a new adventure.

Turning to Clear Brew

From his time in the drinks industry, Jon has acquired a wealth of knowledge and formed many great relationships. Not wanting to stray too far from the community he had come to know and love, he needed to find something that ticked all the boxes.

While browsing the internet one day, he came across Clear Brew and was eager to find out more.

The opportunity appeared to fit the criteria he ideally wanted to fulfil. He could remain within the realms of the industry he had become familiar with over the years while progressing his career and building a future for himself and his family. Having witnessed someone close to him successfully operate a franchise, he thought to himself, why can’t I do that?

Time to take the plunge

Wanting to know more about the Clear Brew franchise opportunity, Jon reached out to talk to the team at central office. After an initial conversation, he was immediately drawn to the potential growth that comes with the Clear Brew model. The opportunity seemed perfect. He realised he would be able to build a fantastic business working for himself, transfer the skills he developed over the years and also free up time to work on other projects.

Goals for the future

Once Jon had taken on the franchise, completed his training and had all the equipment he needed to get started, he felt it was important to set goals. In the short-term, he looked to establish a customer base and build relationships with pubs in his area. He decided that when 20 customers were on board, he could look at employing someone part-time.

In the long-term, he envisioned taking on 2-3 employees. This would allow him to solely focus on building his reputation and relationships.

It’s not all work and no play

Jon intends to fully embrace every aspect of the Clear Brew business model; This includes the improvements it will make to his work/life balance. He is a family man and likes to spend time with his wife and teenage daughter. He also likes to take time to socialise with friends and watch sports.

It’s a game changer

For Jon, becoming his own boss was the biggest change and adjustment to his life. All the work he puts in impacts and ultimately benefits himself and his family.
