The TaxAssist network now has more than 250 franchises in operation across the UK operating from over 400 shops and offices.

Khandakar Rahman (Wanstead & South Woodford), Peaches Raja (Melksham & Trowbridge) and Meghna Doshi (Park Royal & North Kensington) have all recently completed their initial training and are now launching their TaxAssist Accountants practices.

James Mattam, Group Director of Franchising, said: “I’d like to warmly welcome our new joiners to the network and we look forward to supporting them to build successful, profitable accounting practices.

“Since launching our refreshed branding and refining our franchise packages last year, we’ve seen a huge number of accountants and tax experts looking to join our network. Khandakar and Peaches have joined on our ‘new start’ franchise package and have begun their journey to building their own practice. Meghna joins us with an existing practice with over 85 clients and is now looking forward to scaling the growth of her business by utilising the TaxAssist brand and support.

“As an established network, we also have a number of accountants looking to retire and we’re always keen to support them to realise the value and goodwill they have built up over many years. Franchise resales continue to be incredibly popular and we have many years’ experience facilitating the successful transfer of ownership between franchisees.

Three practices were acquired by new joiners in 2024, with a further six changing hands between existing members of the network. We currently have some large accountancy practices for sale due to retirement, as well as several others nearing completion in the coming months.”
