National Training Manager for Caremark achieves registration with the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management

Lynda Goldsmith, National Training Manager with Caremark, a home care franchisor operating throughout the UK, has recently been awarded the status of Registered Safety Practitioner with the IIRSM.

The IIRSM is a nationally recognized body who work closely with the Health & Safety Executive and now operate in 70 countries, advising and guiding many different industries in all aspects of Health & Safety within the workplace.

Through her work within the Social Care sector and in her current role as National Training Manager with Caremark, Ms Goldsmith has been granted Specialist Membership of the Institute.

Ms Goldsmith commented “I am really delighted to have achieved this registration with the Institute on behalf of Caremark.  Caremark Ltd is now an approved centre of training within our role of Social Care providers.  Caremark undertook an accreditation process to achieve its approval status for all our training from the aspect of Health & Safety.  This gives Caremark an international stamp of approval, as the IIRSM is an international organisation, which will have a double benefit for our international offices”.

With qualifications in Training and Quality Assurance, and with 75% of her work every day falling in these areas, Ms Goldsmith has been able to become a specialist member of the IIRSM.  Her work within the Institute keeps her busy too, having been elected for the last year as secretary of the Executive Committee to the Dorset branch with an invitation to open a Sussex branch as the Chairman, in the Autumn.

Caremark is a national care provider operating a network of franchised offices throughout the UK, delivering care and support services to vulnerable individuals within their own homes.  The service is available to everyone, irrespective of age, disability or ethnicity and is provided 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
