The Travel Franchise take 130 consultants on a free Virgin Voyages’ cruise

The Travel Franchise invited over 130 of its top selling franchisees on a free Virgin Voyages cruise this week following the announcement that holiday sales are up over 33 per cent.

Consultants, key members of the corporate team including co-founders Paul Harrison and Steve Witt, plus representatives of the company’s key trade partners which include TUI and Easyjet, boarded the Scarlet Lady in Barcelona on Sunday.

The group are currently half way through a week-long cruise around the Med with ports of call including Rome and Ibiza. Also onboard is company spokesperson, TV broadcaster Eamonn Holmes, plus brand ambassador TV presenter Hayley Sparkes and douple Olympic gold medalist Daley Thompson.

Paul Harrison said: “The event is a chance to spend a week together, celebrating our success and recognition, along with company updates, new initiatives, and enhanced systems and technology – all while partying for the week and rekindling friendships. Events like this are the foundation on which our company is built.”

The ‘get together’ is aimed at our consultants who have reached Platinum status and above, which means they have earned commission of £20,000 and more with some agents earning over £2 million since joining.

Paul added that he would be announcing new hires to our senior management team and creating a ‘Consultant Forum’ of eight franchisees who will represent consultants and act as an ‘advisory board’ sharing agent opinions and ideas while testing new initiatives.

“We listen and give them a say and they can feel part of crafting what the future will look like.”
Around 20 key trade partners attended the first two days of the cruise giving agents the opportunity to listen to updates on new products and booking tools, plus meet representatives in person and establish close relationships.
These include TUI, Easyjet, Sandals, Celebrity Cruises, Norwegian Cruise Line, Audley Travel, Travelpack, Beachcomber, P&O and Gold Medal among others.

The event isn’t the only free trip the company offers its franchisees. Entrepreneurs that invest in its Elite franchise package get invited on a free Millionaire’s Retreat in a short-haul location followed by our Elite Experience in a more exotic long-haul destination. Both offer targeted workshops and training on how franchisees can propel their business to the next level with opportunities to network and explore a popular tourist resort.

The company’s next Elite Experience is taking place in Mauritius later this month while the Millionaire’s Retreat kicks off in Crete in October.

The franchise last week reported that it had a record number of new joiners in one day following its Discovery event in London where entrepreneurs were invited to a free presentation of the business which has become known as the number one franchise for people new to travel.
