Walfinch home care welcomes new franchisees in Milton Keynes.

Dimpu Robin says: “My wife Spandana and I have been volunteering in our local area for some time. We sometimes visit people in their home to cook them a meal and provide some company, or take someone out for a walk, or simply contact them to share a few words of comfort when they need it.

“As local churchgoers, we have seen that there is a need for more care here, so we decided that we could extend our practical help by launching a Walfinch homecare service.”

Dimpu has been a self-employed IT project manager for over 12 years, and wife Spandana has a background in human resources, so Spandana will deal with clients and recruiting staff, while Dimpu takes care of business management.

“We know from our experience as volunteers that our hearts are in providing care,” says Spandana. “Starting a Walfinch homecare service is a way for us put our love for our local community into action, and with a team of carers, we can bring the benefits of care to more people.”

Dimpu says: “No-one should enter the homecare business just to make money, but I am convinced that if you deliver a service based on love for your community, people will see that and your business will grow.  A healthy income is essential to running a sustainable care business which makes a real difference to a community.”

Spandana and Dimpu investigated several homecare franchises, but Dimpu says: “We chose Walfinch, because it has a record of wonderful work in the communities it serves across the country.
