See Sports Breaks (www.seesportsbreaks.com) is a business based in the UK offering sporting events breaks to fans and the corporate market. Our business was initially set up in late 2022 and commenced trading in early 2023, generating a moderate profit of £1200 as a side business. The plan was to grow this and make it a full-time venture, but our other business and my partners main job have taken over our time.
Our core products are focused on tickets to motorsports events, football (including Euro 2024) and some rugby, with direct contracts with European and USA-based wholesale providers. We offer our direct-to-consumer clients the option to book a hotel to make these into small breaks and the corporate clients tend to book ticket only. Included in the products available are:
- Premier league tickets (supplier has direct Man Utd agreement for next season)—these are not very competitive and are mainly designed for the overseas tourism market
La Liga is very competitive
Serie A: very competitive provider
- Bundesliga
Formula 1 tickets
- MotoGP
Formula E
Tennis tickets (not sold)
- Rugby
- DKB
We have not engaged in any large-scale advertising and have promoted ourselves primarily through some advertisements placed on LinkedIn. However, we do have a full marketing plan as we are primarily a marketing agency, so this is included in the sale and is very thorough. We intended to use this as a strategy to follow that could be implemented by the new owner.
The sale includes our optimised website with all products loaded and up to date (very easy to add the new football fixtures when released), supplier accounts for tickets, a wholesale hotel account, and the marketing plan.
Please note that this business has been run on a very part-time basis, so profits have only been low (£1200). The market is there for significant growth if you have the time to dedicate.
We are experienced in travel marketing, and with the suppliers we have a trade only, it is a highly sought-after business opportunity.
The potential for someone with the time is significant - we have a facebook page but never really post to it
