The Business: Established over 10 years ago, this care provider has become a leading provider in the local area for the high quality of care and companionship they provide to their clients. The agency's last CQC review was in 2023 and it received an “overall outstanding” rating, with outstanding in two key areas and “good” in the others. The agency strives to deliver the very best of home care services and prides itself on delivering compassionate care, tailored to suit each service user's needs, creating an excellent reputation, values and ethos, which has led them to win local and national awards, even through COVID times. They organise various monthly group meetings, which give them direct links to doctors, nursing teams, charity organisations, and more. The agency has always had an excellent retention of staff, which enables it to keep skilled staff through the training provided.
Customers:
The agency provides a range of services to clients, including elderly care and support for vulnerable adults (18+). They support clients with complex care needs such as Parkinson’s, Dementia, stroke, brain injury, and mental health conditions. Services include personal care, fluid and nutritional support, medication support, welfare and domestic care, befriending and companionship care, shopping, and support with appointments and outings. They are registered with CHC in the event a customer becomes eligible for this type of funding and agrees to their rates. At the time of writing, the business delivers approximately 400 hours per week of home care services to c. 36 service users, of which 20 are regulated and the other 16 are not. All clients are 100% private/self-funded.
