Recruitment & Community Links
Established partnerships with:
Stoke-on-Trent College: We have a strong partnership, currently providing them with training for the Care Certificate. They can provide placement students. The college has a classroom and a 3-bed simulation hospital ward which we can use anytime free of charge (subject to availability) for training our staff on Manual Handling and Basic Life Support. We usually combine training for our staff and students.
Newcastle College: We provide placements for students. The students do not have to be paid for the placement hours, and some have gone on to work for us after their placements.
We have good links with local Job Centres, which also offer placement staff free of charge and help with recruitment.
